By car Arriving from the motorways (for details www.autostrade.it):

A4 (Torino-Milano), A5 (Torino-Aosta) North of Turin;
follow the signs to the ring road (Tangenziale); leave the ring road at the Francia exit (previous exit is A32 Frejus)

A6 (Torino-Savona), A21 (Torino-Piacenza-Brescia) South of Turin;
follow the signs to the ring road (Tangenziale); leave the ring road at the Francia exit (previous exit is IV Novembre)

A32 (Torino- Bardonecchia- Frejus) West of Turin;
follow the signs to the ring road (Tangenziale); when you meet it, turn right; leave the ring road almost immediately at the Francia exit.

From the Francia exit, enter Corso Francia and proceed eastwards; after about 6 km, turn 30° right and enter Corso Peschiera; after about 3.5 km, the Politecnico is on your left hand side.

 

 

Transportation in Turin

Turin’s underground does not cover the entire city at the moment. A dense network of ground transportation is available though. Maps of the network are available at the www.comune.torino.it/gtt/, at most stops, and in the booklet Tuttocittà distributed for free with the white and yellow pages and therefore available at any telephone.
Tickets must be bought before entering buses and trams at most bars, bookstalls and tobacconist's. 

Ordinary city ticket - € 0.90
Valid for 70 minutes since first punched (punch the ticket only once, on the first vehicle boarded) on metropolitan lines. By punching the ticket a second time within 70 minutes, users can continue their journey to the terminus.
